Dear West Lindsey District Council,
A press report in October 2009 stated that ACIS Group
(co-agency of WLDC) had been 'saluted for its 'nuisance handling'
and that it had been 'accredited' by SLCNG and Housemark for' the
way in which it deals with anti social behaviour'. The
'accreditation' was awarded after 'a very robust inspection-style
assessment.....against 70 different criteria.'
WLDC ASB 'team' acts as agent for ACIS and presumably was
inspected by SLCNG [Social Landlords Crime and Nuisance Group] and
Housemark.
1. When was WLDC ASB 'team'inspected ?
2. What was the name of the 'inspector' ?
3. Was a report of the assessment made and if so, please supply a
paper copy ?
4. What were the 70 criteria used in the 'accreditation'.
5. In what way does the accreditation 'bolster the firm's (ACIS)
partnership credentials with other organisations '?
6. What form does the 'accreditation' take ? ie certificate, cup,
silver salver etc.
7. By what authority do the SLCNG and Houemark award 'accreditation
?
8. What is the supervisory body for these two organisations. ?
Yours faithfully,
James Murray

Dear West Lindsey District Council,
My request for information is perfectly reasonable and valid and is
in no way 'vexatious'. Kindly now supply the information requested.
It is of considerable public interest to question the
'accreditation' of your co-agency ACIS.
Surely if you profess that ACIS is your co-agency and indeed they
use your ASB team', it is reasonable to ask if your 'team' took
part in the 'accreditation' procedure' of SLNCG and Housemark.
What are you trying to hide ?
J.Murray

Dear FOI,
As you had arrogantly pronounced my request to be 'vexatious' and
indicated that appeal could be made to your Director of Strategy
and Regeneration and Information Commissioner - I did just that and
now await their decision.
Meanwhile, I spoke this morning to your Lyn Marlow who was most
obstructive and unhelpful. She appeared not to have heard of the two
organisations which 'accredited' WLDC co-agency, ACIS Group. When
questioned she became agitated and finally very abruptly terminated
the telephone conversation
Clearly, WLDC are embarrassed by the revelation that their
co-agency, the thoroughly disreputable ACIS Group, has been
'saluted for its nuisance handling' and 'accredited for the way in
which it deals with
anti social behaviour' when their ASB 'team' illegally procured
perjured witness statements alleging ASB by the present writer
(acting for ACIS) resulting in him having, an innocent ex-service
pensioner, to mortgage
his home to pay legal defence costs. How, in Heaven's name, could
anyone in their right mind 'accredit' ACIS under these
circumatances.
Yours sincerely,
James Murray

The Decision Notice referred to by Ben Harris contains grave errors which ICO A.White agreed (28th February 2011) to correct.
It seems that appeal will be necessary.
