Dear Stephanie,

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION (SCOTLAND) ACT 2002 ? REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

I refer to your information request dated 12th April 2011, our reference:
Q6.1/2011034.

To allow us to provide you with the response you require I would
appreciate if you could advise us further of your meaning of customer.
The reason for this request for clarification is that our schools hold
information relating to customers i.e. parents/children buying school
equipment such as water bottles, gym bags etc. For us to gather this
information would be an extremely large task as we have 142 primary
schools, 19 high schools, 19 stand alone nurseries and 6 special schools
and the information would have to be taken from till rolls within each
establishment.

Can you confirm if the above information is required within the scope of
your request?

Thank you.

Regards
Laura
