Accountability for Coroners, Chief Constables, self, etc

Dear Ministry of Justice,

I would be grateful for your expeditious reply to the following:

1 To whom, or what body, is the Ministry of Justice
accountable?

2 What form does that accountability take?

3 What sanctions apply if members of the Ministry of Justice
Staff act against the public interest?

4 Who applies those sanctions?

5 What organisations and public bodies have accountability to the
Ministry of Justice?

Also, the Home Office assure me that you will be in a position to
answer the following:

6 Why will no-one at the Ministry of Justice oversee the actions of
Coroners, who misapply the law and refuse to call essential
witnesses to an inquest following a well-documented, provably
unwarranted and deliberate killing?

7 What accountability does the Ministry of Justice have in respect
of the actions of Judges, Coroners, Chief Police Constables, Police
Authorities?

Dear Ministry of Justice,

The Ministry of Justice is acting outside its own legislation in
not replying to my Freedom of Information Act request of 06
September 2010

I would like a full internal review to discover why no reply has
been forthcoming. I would also - as a matter of urgency - like a
full response to my original questions.

Dear Mr Chowdhury,

Your undated, response - reproduced for public gaze below - does
not bode well for 'justice' since it seems that in this case, the
legal requirement on the Ministry of Justice to respond, has been
ignored.

There are several more requests in the pipeline, (none of which
have yet been responded to) which were passed on by me, at the
suggestion of other government agencies such as the Home Office and
Legal Services Commission, who suggested that it was your own
Ministry of Justice which should be able to give replies.

My request in this one matter, has been available, since 06
September 2010, on the web site through which it was originally

Your reply - reprinted below - clearly indicated that the Ministry
of Justice, has little organised intent, to comply with the law,
since if it had, it would have a filing system which worked, and
staff who performed the duty which the public expects - rather than
the cover-up which Government and bureaucrats require.

I would be grateful if you would now, as a matter of urgency
respond to my initial request, and also instigate a full review of
the procedures within the Freedom of Information Unit at the
Ministry of Justice.

I look forward to receiving the initial information within the
week.
