Dear Sir or Madam,
Recently Portsmouth City Council rolled 20mph roads across the city
after testing the scheme. Under the freedom of information act I
would like to know:
- How many Traffic related accidents where there on Portsmouth's
Roads in year before the scheme was first tested? - How many
accidents were there on the roads tested during the test period? -
How many accidents were there on these specific roads before the
test began (over the past year)?

The City Council will consider whether any of these exemptions apply and, where required by the Act, whether it is in the public interest to release the information. If we have to make a public interest test, the 20 day time limit might be extended. We will inform you if the time scale has to be extended and if any information is withheld and of your rights of appeal.
