Dear General Medical Council,
It has been confirmed by the Dept of Health that they "have shared
Professor Richard Baker Report with other public bodies and
individuals ", this DH response names your organization.
Therefore please advise:
1) What date the DH release the Professor Baker's Report to you?
2) Who had access to the Report?
As you know this report, conducted in October 2002, was the audit
into the number of deaths at the Gosport War Memorial Hospital.

Our solicitors received the report on 13 March 2008 and provided a copy to
us on 14 March 2008.
2) Who had access to the Report?
The report was forwarded by the GMC's solicitors to those within the GMC's
Fitness to Practise Directorate responsible for the management of the case
against Dr Barton.
