Dear Miss Goburdhun,
Request for Information: Freedom of Information Act 2000
Thank you for your helpful response to my request for information
about the Ministry of Justice Access to Information Central
Clearing House and your advice on where to find the documents which
interested me (your reference: 55259).
I note that the documents do not appear to provide information on
the standards of service used by the Central Clearing House in
handling requests, and so I should be grateful if you would provide
me with the following further information:
1. The standard of service used by the Central Clearing House for
turning round requests which have been referred to it by other
agencies.
2. The number of requests which have been referred to the Central
Clearing House for each month since January 2008 until the most
recent month for which data is available.
3. The number of outstanding requests currently in hand (ie the
number of requests which have been received by the Central Clearing
House but have not yet been closed).
I believe that it is in the public interest to release such
information in order to allow scrutiny of the Central Clearing
House's performance in dealing with requests for information.
Thank you very much for your assistance and I look forward to
hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Peter Burt
