Peter Burt made this Freedom of Information request to Ministry of Justice
The request was partially successful.
From: Peter Burt
16 July 2008
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to request the following information under the Freedom
of Information (FOI) Act 2000.
- A copy of the terms of reference for the Access to Information
Central Clearing House at the Ministry of Justice.
- A copy of guidance issued to public authorities by the Ministry
of Justice on requirements for referring FOI requests to the
Clearing House, including the full document for which Annex B is
posted on the Ministry's website at
http://www.foi.gov.uk/guidance/pdf/annex... .
As well as the guidance notes themselves, please ensure that Annex
A and any other Annexes are provided.
Please also advise me of the arrangements and standards of service
which have been adopted by the Clearing House to ensure that FOI
requests are turned around promptly and that referral to the
Clearing House does not contribute to unneccesary delay in
responding to a request from a member of the public.
I look forward to receiving this information within 20 days as
required under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act.
Yours faithfully,
Peter Burt
