Acceptance and rejection rates for CNHC registration

Sean Ellis made this Freedom of Information request to Department of Health

Department of Health did not have the information requested.

From: Sean Ellis

28 May 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council has registered a
number of practitioners in three broad areas of practice, namely
Massage Therapy, Aromatherapy and Nutritional Therapy.

I would like to know, for each discipline:

- How many applications have been received.

- How many applications have been accepted.

- How many applications have been rejected.

- If possible, general reasons for rejection of applications.

The CNHC states in its core values that "We are open and
transparent in our business." I have already asked for this
information directly from the CNHC themselves, with no response.

Yours faithfully,

Sean Ellis
