Dear Mr Stevenson,

I write following your request dated 23 January 2011 (below) under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 for information about the cost of
University Library subscriptions to academic journals.

The below figures set out the University's total print and electronic
journal subscription costs (in GBP) in each academic year since 2005/06.
2005/06: 741,396.
2006/07: 910,131.
2007/08: 947,516.
2008/09: 1,102,026.
2009/10: 1,253,768.

If you are not satisfied with the University's response to your request,
you may ask the University to review it. If you wish to do this, please
write to me in the first instance. Full details of our FOI complaints
procedure, including how to complain to the Information Commissioner, are
