Dear Mr Goodall,

Further to your request for information dated 17^th November 2010
concerning the Ablett Unit, I am pleased to provide the following in
response to your request.

 

You asked:

1. On average, the number of patients in residence at the Ablett Mental
Health Unit?

2. Its operating budget?

3. Its maximum capacity?

4. Its staff numbers?

5. A patient's average length of stay?

6. How many patients revisited more than once, over the last five years?

7. More than twice?

8. More than five times?

9. More than ten times?

10. More than twenty times?

Our response:

1) The average daily occupancy from April 2010 to October 2010 was 49
patients.

2) The total annual operational budget as at November 2010 is
£3,834,916.00

3) The maximum capacity for adults is 24 and the maximum capacity for
elderly is 27.

4) 89.19 whole time equivalent staff.

5) The patient's average length of stay between April 2010 and October
2010 was 36 days.
