Dear Lambeth Borough Council,

A a consequence of the court ruling listed below, can you confirm
that Lambeth Council will now arrange for Social Workers to review
the Pathway Plans of Care Leavers aged 18 to 21 or 24 if in Higher
Education? Also confirm that Care Leavers who are also asylum
seekers or former asylum seekers will obtain the same level of
Social Work support as any other Care Leavers, in so far as getting
support from a Social Worker to review the Pathway Plans of Care
Leavers aged 18 to 21 or 24 if in Higher Education?

In write in response to your Freedom of Information request in your email
of 6^th August 2010 (below).

You asked:-

Answer:-

London Borough of Lambeth is committed to meeting its statutory
responsibilities under the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2002 following the
judgement of Mr Justice Parker.

London Borough of Lambeth offers the same level of service to young people
who are asylum seekers or former asylum seekers as to other Care Leavers.
