Dear Denbighshire Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of
Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Denbighshire
Council's handling of my FOI request 'A non illuminated sign for
Peter Duffy and Son Glaziers at the Parc Dyffryn Work Shop on
Ffordd Pendyffyn Road'.
Dear Clare ,
Are you confirming there was a planning application?
And that my previous efforts to find such planning application and
subsequent approval was my error and that if I retry?
Could I also ask, with out sounding offensive, that a simple
application number (assuming you looked and found it.) Would have
solved the question quicker?
If the answers were yes there was a planning application and yes it
was subsequently approved. I believe my request for a review to mu
original Freedom Of Information Request can be solved with correct
planning application/committee details.
Thank you for your help.
Yours sincerely

Dear Mr Bourne,
Following your request for us to review our previous response in connection with your request for information originally received 6 January 2012 concerning Planning Application files I can advise you that we have now completed the review.
The Council have decided that it was legitimate to direct you to the Planning Portal under regulation 6(1)(b) of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, as this allows direct public access to all planning applications made to the Council. However, to clarify the situation, further investigation has shown that there is no record of a planning application for a non-illuminated sign on this site. The Council also noted that the Freedom Of information Act was mentioned in our reply instead of Environmental Information Regulations 2004, and we apologise for this oversight.
If you remain dissatisfied with our response or have any concerns about the manner in which the Council has dealt with your request, you have the right to refer this to the Information Commissioner whose address is Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF who will consider your complaint.
If I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours sincerely,
