Stephen Ball made this Freedom of Information request to Kent County Council
Kent County Council did not have the information requested.
From: Stephen Ball
5 January 2010
Dear Sir/Madam,
Re: List of commercial properties not receiving small business rate
relief
Please can you provide me with the following information under the
Freedom Of Information Act 2000:-
(a) addresses and rateable values of Commercial properties that are
within your District Council up to a rateable value of £11,000 who
are eligible for, but not currently receiving small business rate
relief;
and
(b) the names of the owners of those properties referred to in (a)
Yours faithfully,
Stephen Ball
Kent County Council

Dear Mr Ball
Thank you for your request regarding commercial property not currently
receiving small business rates relief.
I am afraid that Kent County Council does not hold this information. In
Kent, the 12 district councils and Medway Council, a unitary authority,
are responsible for providing business rates relief, so you will need to
contact them for this information. Please see the following links for
information about Council services in Kent and a list of District
Councils.

To get the best from FOI requests it is best to do a little homework first to check that requests are being sent to the correct public authority.
