Dear Sir/Madam,
Re: List of commercial properties not receiving small business rate
relief
Please can you provide me with the following information under the
Freedom Of Information Act 2000:-
(a) addresses and rateable values of Commercial properties that are
within your District Council up to a rateable value of £11,000 who
are eligible for, but not currently receiving small business rate
relief;
and
(b) the names of the owners of those properties referred to in (a)

Dear Mr Ball,
I refer to your request for information dated 4 January 2010. I apologise
for the delay in responding.
We have gathered all the information requested by you. However we have
omitted the names of owners as it constitutes personal data. Section 40(2)
FOIA states that other people's personal data does not have to be
disclosed if such disclosure would breach one of the data protection
principles contained in the Data Protection Act ("DPA") 1998.
Please find attached a List of commercial properties not receiving small
business rate
relief with the relevant omissions.
If for whatever reason you are unhappy with our response you are entitled
to pursue any dissatisfaction through the Council's Complaints Procedure.
The Council's Complaints Officer can be contacted or by writing to London
Borough of Barnet, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London
N11 1NP.
Should you remain dissatisfied you can appeal against the decision by
contacting the Information Commissioner, Wycliffe House, Water Lane,
Wilmslow SK9 5AF.
