Dear Foreign and Commonwealth Office,
In the Country and Regional Analysis (CRA) published on the HM
Treasury website:
http://www.hm-treasury.gov.uk/d/cra_2009...
there are lines of spending for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office
with the Program Object Group Alias (POGA) of:
"P22 S020301 BBC World Service: grant in aid: Broadcasting"
But this POGA has blank cells for the spending effects for all of
the years and all of the NUTS regions listed. Given this lack of
spending effects, could you advice on how to interpret the spending
effects for the "P22 S020301 BBC World Service: grant in aid:
Broadcasting" please?
Yours faithfully,
Lisa Evans

Dear Foreign and Commonwealth Office,
To be more clear, my request was for an explanation of what the
program object group alias:
"P22 S020301 BBC World Service: grant in aid: Broadcasting"
refers to in the Country and Regional Analysis (CRA) published
here:
http://www.hm-treasury.gov.uk/d/cra_2009...
From the link to the World Service site, which shows a grant in aid
is 265.0 Million for 2009 and 255.0 Million for 2008 -- I'm curious
how this spending is shown in the CRA.
I have collected all entries from the CRA 2009 for the program
object group alias "P22 S020301 BBC World Service: grant in aid:
Broadcasting" into one sheet:
http://objectgroup.org/worldservice-cra-...
I wonder if you could explain the figures in more detail and how
they match those given on the world service site.
Yours faithfully,
Lisa Evans
