Dear Office of Fair Trading,
I am unable to find an email or mail address or a fax number on
your Consumer Direct web site. This makes it impossible to keep a
copy in a durable medium of any communication I have with that
service.
Please let me know a contact email address for Consumer Direct.
Alternatively, please let provide me with any information apropos
past and present decisions to not publish an email address on that
web site.

Thank you for your email dated 10 December. My colleagues in the Information Access Team have passed your email request to me, as I work with the Consumer Direct central team at the OFT.
As you are probably aware Consumer Direct (CD) is a government-funded telephone and online service offering information and advice on consumer issues. The service is managed by the OFT and we have contact centres based across England, Scotland and Wales.
In response to your request, the service does not have a central email address, all it's email correspondence goes through our online webform, this allows us to direct email correspondence to the appropriate CD centre according to the individuals location. The following link will take you directly to our 'contact us' page http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/contact .
