RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 – INFORMATION REQUEST No. FOI 7958
RELATING TO A1/A3 LICENCES

 

I refer to your request for information under the above Act which the City
Council received on 11 November 2011.

 

Your request was for a list of currently operating A1/A3 Licensed
businesses in the borough. On the list I would like the following
 information regarding every business:

    

     1. Address and postcode

     2. Name

     3. Type of License (A1/A3)

 

I can confirm that the City Council does not hold a list of A1 or A3
businesses currently operating in the City. There is no requirement to
hold such a list. Furthermore, the Use Classes Order allows certain
changes within the A use class to change without the need for planning
permission.
