Freedom of Information Act (2000) - Request for Information
I write following our acknowledgement letter, date 02 April 2009, reference FOI/2009/0174/ACK.
Further to your request, please see our response below:
The number of persons in the local authority of compulsory school age who are, or claimed to be, electively home educated and who have been either suspected or found to be involved in child abuse, neglect, forced marriage, sexual exploitation or domestic servitude.
North Somerset Council does not have any EHE pupils who have either been suspected or found to be involved in child abuse, neglect, forced marriage, sexual exploitation or domestic servitude.
How many (if any) Serious Case Reviews or Joint Area Review have reported with respect to home educated children in the LA.
