Freedom of Information Act 2000 request – LEA 51294
Your request for information received by Milton Keynes Council on the 3rd July 2008 has now been
considered under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. In response to your request:

1. Please would supply information with regards to the number of children that are in receipt of free
school meals in the last year of junior school and out of these how many were refused there first
named chose of school for 2008-2009 and out of these how many were sent to The Radcliff
School?


There were 319 children eligible for Free School Meals in Year 6 (transferring to mainstream
schools. Of these, 269 were allocated their highest ranked or preferred school. Incidentally this
was 84% and in line with the overall percentage of children who were allocated their highest
ranked school. 50 of the 269 children did not get their highest ranked or preferred school. 5 of
these 50 were allocated places at The Radcliffe School.
