“…Please could you let me know the total cost to the BBC in the financial years 2006/7 and 2007/8
of the Romanian language section of the BBC World Service”

The total cost of the Romanian Service in 2006/7 was £1.163m and £1.263m in 2007/8. These figures can
be broken down into the following expenditure:
