Hi John
The LGA act on behalf of all local authorities and would be seeking a
settlement in that context, though obviously we are happy to work with
joint councils - and others - given the synergy in what we're all
lobbying for. The four councils invited are the ones whose accounts have
been independently audited recently so they can prove the validity of
their spend - something the DSCF seems rather concerned about.
I'm going to be briefing the other John (Ransford) before the meeting so
I wouldn't rush to get there early, sorry!
Hope NASF went well and wasn't a waste of your time!
Emma

Emma
Just checking LGA stance on this my understanding you support the
councils' initiative but what is settled for them should be open to all
local authorities? Basically this is Cosla' view .
I will get to meeting early so we could have a quick chat.
Regars John
