Emma – apologies for
not replying sooner – I agree that it would be useful for the group to meet
again to progress the discussions. The reason why you may not have had a
response from me or other ADCS representatives is that the 22nd
October is the first day of the National Children and Adult Services Conference
2008 in
To avoid postponing the

Subject: RE: UASC Reform Steering Group -
22 October, LGA
Dear all,
Though still subject to
final confirmation from ADCS representatives, it does look like this meeting is
going ahead. If you haven't yet confirmed your attendance, then do please drop
me a line.
I thought we'd have a
general discussion, then invite the UKBA's UASC Reform Team along to give an
update on the programme from their point of view. If you have any specific items
to add to the agenda or the discussion, then please also drop me a line.
Many thanks and kind
regards,
Emma

Subject: UASC Reform Steering Group -
invite to 22 October meeting
Dear
all,
Following the developing work on
UASC reform, we thought it might be useful to reconvene the 'UASC Reform
Steering Group' which was originally set up to pull together a response to the
initial consultation.
We are proposing to hold at meeting
at the LGA on 22
October from 11.00 - 2.00, subject to
interest in holding the meeting from you all.
We will invite UKBA to attend to
provide an update on the programme and have a discussion on key
issues.
If you are interested and able to
attend, I'd be very grateful if you could drop me a line as soon as possible.
With many thanks and kind regards,
Emma
