THE CITY OF CAMBRIDGE

AREA A (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 1993 (AMENDMENT NO. 102) ORDER 2001

Cambridge City Council ("the Council") in pursuance of arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Cambridgeshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 63, and 64 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") (as amended) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order shall come into operation for all purposes on the 7th day of May 2002 and may be cited as The City of Cambridge Area A (Consolidation) Order 1993 (Amendment No. 102) Order 2001.

2. In this Order the expression "the Order of 1993" shall mean The City of Cambridge Area A (Consolidation) Order 1993 and any reference to the Order of 1993 shall be construed as a reference to that Order as varied or amended.

3. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though in Schedule 2 Part 1 all references to East Road were deleted.

4. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though in Schedule 2 Part 2 all references to East Road were deleted and substituted by the following:

EAST ROAD Excluding those lengths as described in all other parts of Schedule 2

5. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though the following additions were made to Schedule 2 Part 36:

EAST ROAD On its northwest side from a point 49 metres southwest of the centreline of Bradmore Street for a distance of 70 metres in a northeasterly direction

EAST ROAD On its northwest side from a point 12 metres northeast of the centreline of Dover Street for a distance of 83 metres in a northeasterly direction

6. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though in Schedule 2 Part 11 the references to East Road and Earl Street were deleted.

7. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect by the addition of Schedule 2 part 37 as specified by the FIRST SCHEDULE to this Order.

8. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect by the addition of Schedule 2 Part 38 as specified by the SECOND SCHEDULE to this Order

9. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though in Schedule 2 Part 12 the reference to Madingley Road was deleted.

10. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect by the addition of Schedule 2 Part 39 as specified by the THIRD SCHEDULE to this Order.

11. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though in Schedule 4 Part 5 the reference to East Road was deleted.

12. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect by the addition of Schedule 4 Part 7 as specified by the FOURTH SCHEDULE to this Order.

13. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though in Schedule 23 Part 2 all references to East Road were deleted

14. The Order of 1993 shall be amended and have effect as though the following additions were made to Schedule 23 Part 2:

EAST ROAD On its northwest side from its junction with Parkside to a point 49 metres southwest of the centreline of Bradmore Street

EAST ROAD On its northwest side from a point 20 metres northeast of the centreline of Burleigh Street to a point 39 metres northeast of the centreline of St. Matthew's Street

EAST ROAD On its southeast side from a point 17 metres southwest of the centreline of Norfolk Street to its junction with St. Matthew's Street

EAST ROAD On its southeast side from a point 24 metres northeast of the centreline of St. Matthew's Street for a distance of 150 metres in a northeasterly direction

NEWMARKET ROAD On its north side from its junction with Parsonage Street to a point 46 metres west of the centreline of Auckland Road

NEWMARKET ROAD On its south side from its junction with Wellington Street to a point 15 metres east of the centreline of Napier Street

NEWMARKET ROAD On its south side from its junction with Christchurch Street to its junction with James Street
