3. The dates of any meetings, past, present and future scheduled by the Council with regards to public or internal consultations or internal Council decision-taking in relation to the SHLA.

Meetings have been held with STEWPS during the preparation of the SHLA on 4 and 10 October 2006, 10 and 17 October 2007 and 4 and 23 April 2008.

Cabinet considered a report on the Emerging Options for the Communities DPD on 23 October 2007 which included consideration of the emerging issues from the SHLA.

The results of the SHLA will provide background evidence for the Local Development Framework Communities DPD. The next stage in the preparation of this document will be a report on the Preferred Options which is currently programmed to be considered at Cabinet on 28 October 2008. Following consultation on the Preferred Options DPD, further meetings will be scheduled in the future to consider the responses from the consultation and to approve the final DPD. This will be published for formal representations to be made, following which it will be submitted to the Secretary of State for consideration at the Public Examination. The Council will then consider the Inspector's report which will be binding on the Council.
