I would opine that one of the pressing issues for the Council to resolve is the future of important civic and religious buildings seemingly left marooned in the wake of housing clearance.

The boundary of this site and its relationship with St.Peter's RC Comprehensive as shown in Drawing PLNG343 should be amended to reflect the retained area of playing field in planning approval R/2007/0494/FF.

With a retained or relocated play area that is overlooked by new housing there is scope to provide a significant number of houses that would all assist in the regeneration of this area. It is likely that a minimum of 50 houses would be provided in a mixture of terraced and semi detached housing.
