Dear Ms Watson

Your Freedom of Information Act Request

I refer to your email of 21 April 2009 in which you requested a review of Ms Pook's handling of your request of 12 March for information relating to complaints we had received over the last 10 years against Camden Council's Department of Children, Schools and Families.

Ms Pook had responded to your request on 9 April asking you to clarify some points in your request and you responded on 16 April. Ms Pook then sent you a substantive reply to your request on 17 April.

You have not explained in your 21 April email what aspect of Ms Pook's reply you find unsatisfactory so I have had some difficulty in conducting the review. Ms Pook has provided you with answers to all the questions you raised. She has not exercised any of the exclusions in the FOIA in her response. She has pointed out, correctly, that some information is not held by us. She also correctly stated that some parts of your request relate to matters that are outside of the LGO's jurisdiction and you need to approach the Information Commissioner for a response. I therefore conclude Ms Pook dealt correctly with your request.

You have now exhausted our internal complaints procedure concerning this matter. If you are still not satisfied you have the right to apply to the Information Commissioner to determine whether you request has been properly dealt with. Further details can be found at www.ico.gov.uk.
