Dear Mr Brown,
I am writing with reference to your request for information regarding the PNC
Information Access Panel, dated 12th March 2009, made under section 1(1) of the
Freedom of Information Act.
You asked for the following information:
(a) What is the role/function of the PNC Information Access Panel (PIAP)?
(b) What are the terms of reference/constitution of the PIAP?
(c) Who does the PIAP report to?
(d) Who are the current members of the PIAP? Please supply their names,
organisations, jobtitles and role on the PIAP (e.g. Chair, Secretary, etc).
(e) How often does the PIAP meet?
(f) How is membership of the PIAP determined or decided?
I am writing to advise you I have established that the information you requested is
not held by the NPIA.
The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) are responsible for the PNC
Information Access Panel, you should direct your query to them for the most up to
date information.
