Freedom of Information Act Request re Cost of Fuel.

Thank you for your request received in this office on 20th January 2009.

Using the numbering of your original request the information you requested is:

1. The Council does not purchase car fuel directly. Staff using cars are reimbursed an amount at various rates for the mileage they travel at nationally negotiated rates which include an element for depreciation and other running costs as well as the fuel itself.

 

2. The Council spent £45k on heating costs in its administrative buildings in 2007/08.

If you have any complaints in respect of your information request, the Council does have a complaints procedure which includes requests specifically relating to the Freedom of Information Act. If your complaint is not resolved by the Council's procedure, you have a right under S50 of the Act to apply to the Information Commissioner for a further review of the matter by writing to the Information Commissioner's Office, Cambrian Building, Mount Stuart Square, Cardiff CF10 5FL.
