The above figures do not include the cost of Microsoft Office software/licences for schools because as autonomous bodies each school is responsible for its own purchase and expenditure and in view of the number of schools involved under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Cost Compliance exemption the cost of collecting that information would exceed the appropriate limit.
