Freedom of Information Act request: Marital Status of Borrowers 
 
Thank you for your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 
2000, which we received on 25 February 2009 and for your subsequent message of 
27 February. 
You asked us for data on the marital status of borrowers who took out mortgages or 
other loans from UK banks. 
Having searched our records  I can confirm that  the Treasury does not hold 
information relevant to your request.
