I am writing to inform you that we will not be able to respond to your request made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 within the statutory 20 working day period.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges us to respond to requests promptly, and in any case no later than 20 working days after receiving your request. We do endeavour to make all decisions within this time limit, however in this case we need to consult with third parties whose interests may be affected by the release of the information under point 27 of the Secretary of State for Constitutional Affairs' Code of Practice on the discharge of public authorities' functions under Part I of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 as issued under Section 45 of the Act.
