FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST  
 
I acknowledge your request for information received on 13 February 2009.  
 
You requested the following information:  
 
In the past five years, how many children (aged between 0 and 16 years) who 
were in the "at risk" register or care of Camden council died as a result of: 
 
     (a) child abuse/neglect 
 
     (b) drug abuse 
 
     (c) accident 
 
     (d) unknown causes 
 
     (e) other causes 
 
      
Your request is being considered and you will receive a full response to your request, 
within the statutory timescale of 20 working days (from the day after the request is 
received) as defined by the Freedom of Information Act 2000.   
 
We would normally provide the information in paper copy, normal font size. If you 
require alternative formats, e.g. language, audio, large print, etc. then please let me 
know. 
 
For your information, the Act defines a number of exemptions which may prevent 
release of the information you have requested. There will be an assessment and if 
any of the exemption categories apply then it will be withheld.  We will inform you if 
this is the case.
