Provision of requested information
Thank you for your request for information about Common Purpose courses for each of the following years: 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 to date, including copy of the Invoices for each Common Purpose course paid for by the Organisation, which we received on 20 June 2008. Your request has been considered under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Defra came into existence on 8 June 2001. Invoices are only kept by the Department for six years, thereafter they are destroyed so we are unable to provide the information previous to that date for either Defra or MAFF, its predecessor department.
Only two invoices have appeared on our system and the information is shown below:

We do hold the invoices for the above and the information they contain is the same as above and we see no real benefit in sending these.
