Job Summary; To provide a social work service to the client group. Responsible for the
implementation and co-ordination of complex assessments, the purchase of agreed packages
of care, and the monitoring of service contracts in partnership with the client group and
agencies and health professionals. Responsible for the provision of casework and other social
work services.
Candidate Profile
• To hold a recognised social work qualification and be able to provide
evidence of registration to the GSCC.
• Enhanced CRB checked.
• Knowledge of key legislation relevant to professional social care work
• Knowledge of the functions of a health and social care department and
related agencies
• Knowledge of methods to plan and review services for the client group
• Ability to organise and prioritise work and manage time effectively
• Strong influencing and negotiating skil s with clients and other health
professionals
• Experience of producing reports for a variety of audiences
• Good IT skil s
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Customer focused
• Knowledge of social diversity and equal opportunities and the ability to
demonstrate this throughout al aspects of practice
Social Worker (standard)

Job Summary; To lead and manage a team of social work and health care professionals.
Responsible for the provision of assessment, case planning, and review functions for clients. To
act as professional lead in areas of clinical practice as appropriate.
Candidate Profile
• To hold a recognised social work qualification and be able to provide
evidence of registration to the GSCC.
• Enhanced CRB checked
• A Management qualification may be required dependent upon the role.
• At least three years post qualification social work experience
• Knowledge of key legislation relevant to professional social care work
• Knowledge of the functions of a health and social care department and
related agencies
• Knowledge of methods to assess performance and achievement of targets in
social work practice
• Experience of managing a complex case load
• Ability to organise and prioritise work and manage time effectively

Job Summary; To support qualified social work staff in providing protection and support to a
wide range of people within the community. Working under the supervision of a qualified
