Personal Details


·         User Field - check that the pay point is correct. If not change to the correct one.

Basic Pay Details

·         Pay Group - check that the pay group is correct. If not change to the correct one.

Post Holding History

·         On the OLD POST check the Grade and Increment date.

·         On the NEW POST check:

Increment Date (to be assessed).

Check to see if there are any previous ``Temporary'' periods remember to add these together to get the correct increment date.

Employee Fixed Pay Element Summary

·         Check to see if there are any CRT payments (1520). If so, this needs to be ended the day before the start of the Temporary post.
If there is an end date for the Temporary post then a new line
for the start of CRT needs to be put in the day after the end
date of Temporary post.

·         Apply the new post and check that the 4 weekly salary is pulled through.
·         If they are in receipt of CRT they would then be entitled to the guaranteed minimum increase from 1st May 2008 £450 per year this is paid at the difference from the rate of pay for a Sgt and Police Officer+ CTR subtracted from the £450 which at 01/09/08 is £414 paid 4 weekly at £31.74. The allowance must be identified on the form by HR.
