Dear Ms Chapman,
Thank  you for  your  further letter of 29 March to the Driver  and  Vehicle  Licensing  Agency
(DVLA)  regarding  the  laws  and  regulations  concerning  the  clamping  and  impounding  of
untaxed vehicles.  Your enquiry has not been dealt with as a Freedom of Information request
but as day to day business request.
The  points  that  you  have  raised  have  been  noted  by  the  Agency.    I  can  only  re-iterate  that
DVLA has the legal right to wheel clamp, remove and dispose of untaxed vehicles.
Should you not agree with this fact, I can only suggest that you seek independent legal advice
on the matter.
