I write in connection with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 which was received by Sussex Police on 2 February. You subsequently clarified your request as relating only to the period 4 December 2008 to 2 February 2009.

3 and 4. These questions seek explanation and justification, which is not required by the Act if not already held in a reasonably readily retrievable format. However in that respect I attach a copy we do hold of a letter sent to all such applicants.
