As of January 2009, please could you tell me:

1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which
the council has access to waiting list data?

The council has access to waiting list data on all 10 City Council allotment sites in the city.

2) In total, how many plots are on these sites?

There are a total of 621 marked out allotments on the above sites.

There is a further potential 11,379 square meters that has fallen into misuse over the years, which we aim, to bring back into allotments over the next 12 months. This will provide in the region of a further 90 x 126sq metre allotments.

3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an
allotment?

As of the 18^th February 2009 there were 375 people on the City Council's allotment waiting list.

4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?

No they are all still open

5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

The council has 10 allotment sites in the city (this includes both Tredworth Fields and the Hawthorns which are now being treated as one site.)
