I refer to your request under the Freedom of Information 2000 on 30 June 2008 and please accept my apologies for the delay in response. You have requested the following information:

(a) The sum in total, if any, spent on map procurement, processing and distribution on-line and in paper form during either financial or calendar year 2006.

(b) The proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (a) spent on licences or other fees to Ordnance Survey.

(c)The proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (a) which was paid for by the council tax;

(d) The proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (c) broken down in to council tax bands on a per household basis.

I would respond as follows:

(a) We have no single document, accounting code or location for the requested information, therefore I am unable to provide this information.

(b) For the financial year 2006/07 the amount Liverpool City Council paid Ordnance Survey in respect of Mapping Services Agreement Fees was £94,390.06 (excl VAT) For details of other fees relating to third party products you can contact Ordnance Survey directly at http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite/site/contact

(c) As I have no information in response to (a) I am unable to provide this calculation.

(d) As I have no information in response to (c) I am unable to provide this calculation.
