I am writing in response to your clarified request for information of 06 February 2009 asking
if the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government or
Ministers of state / Parliamentary Under Secretary of States from
this department have held any meetings on the oil refinery dispute
since it began.
as well as information on meetings please provide any official
statements by the Secretary of State on this matter.
finally is any document available that details this departments
responsibilities, roles and powers on the issue of community
cohesion and how this department interacts with other government
departments in this area of "community cohesion".
**Your request has been considered under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I can confirm that Communities and Local Government does hold the information that you have requested and that I am able to provide you with the following information.
Ministers held one internal meeting with officials on this issue.
There have been no other meetings and neither were there formal statements made by and Minister on the matter.
