Thank you for your Freedom of Information request dated 23 January 2009. You asked for a list of all documents held by DFID which refer to British Gas's (BG's) Gaza Marine Field, BG's exploration licence offshore Gaza, or to the sale of gas from this gas field to Egypt, Israel, the Palestinian Authority or Hamas. You asked that we include minutes of internal and external meetings, correspondence or memos.
We have now completed the search of our electronic records from 2005 until present for the information you have asked for and I can confirm that we hold the following documents, which are entirely related to your request:
Copy of a UK Trade and Investment submission to Secretary of State for Trade and Industry about the agreement to export gas from the Palestinian Gaza field to Egypt, dated 23 June 2005.
