Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH) recorded a total of 44 people 
diagnosed with chemotherapy-induced febrile neutropenia in 2008.  
  
Q2. 
The number of deaths due to chemotherapy-induced febrile neutropenia in 
2008? 
 
It is noted in the WUTH Bereavement Office records that Neutropenia Sepsis is the 
main cause of death within this period for 3 patients. 
 
It is noted in the WUTH Bereavement Office records that Neutropenia Sepsis 
contributed to the cause of death within this period for 3 patients.
