I am writing to confirm that the Trust has now completed its search for the information you requested. The information you requested is as follows:

Could I obtain the number of people who were diagnosed with febrile neutropenia and the number of deaths due to febrile neutropenia for 2008?

We have reviewed the activity data for the community hospitals (this does not include Acute Trust sites).

There were 6 admissions that resulted in discharge coding of febrile neutropenia during 2008. Of these only 1 discharge was because the patient was deceased.

If you require data for the Acute Trust sites, please contact them directly for this information.
