Measures of impact/targets:

  1. To ensure children are receiving an education in line with their age, ability and aptitude and cultural and educational background

  2. Ensure that a “contact record” is kept by LA and a copy to parents ( compliant with Fair Processing Notice; data protection/foi)

  3. Quality Assurance -families' opinion of our support “customer care” feedback / report card.

  4. The LEA exercises discretion to support college placements for youngsters who want to reintegrate and seek accredited pathways ( DIP process)

  5. Gives children and parents the opportunity to gain a wider picture and feel supported.

  6. How to include ME EAL families?

  7. Gives the children the opportunity to meet other EHE children.

  8. All personnel widen their view on EHE, improve their documentation, have the opportunity to share concerns and share our views with the DCSF and other agencies.

  9. Annual analysis: highlighting total numbers by KS, gender and preference, reintegrated to education (college) and ethnicity compared with other LA's.

  10. Clear partnerships between EWS, parents, social services, connexions, voluntary sector and supplementary schools.

(1/2 day per family) SID Officers (2) plus 3 part-time Associate Officer who is an EHE visitor. Annual visits unless the child's education is less than satisfactory, then more frequent visits with ideas given for improvement.
