I have reviewed your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, and my response is as follows:

I am not aware of any instances over the last 5 years where the Ombudsman has brought to the attention of the Council the fact that an Officer has misled them, lied to them or done anything else to hinder their investigation.

Right to Review

If you wish to have this decision reviewed please write to the Executive Director - Business outlining the points of your review.

If you are still not satisfied with the Council's decision following any review you may appeal the Council's decision to the Information Commissioners Officer, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire. SK9 5AF.
