Information Request FOI/2009/501
Response
I would draw your attention to the copyright statement on the reverse of this Response.
During the last five years the Local Government Ombudsman has not found any maladministration in its investigations of complaints against the council. A small number of local settlements have been agreed in response to the individual circumstances, but none of these have led to disciplinary action being taken against any individual member of staff.
More information is available on the details of the complaints on the Local Government Ombudsman's website, www.lgo.org.uk
