RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST RELATING TO RESIDENTIAL ROOF TERRACES.

I refer to your request dated 20 May 2008 for information under the above mentioned Act in connection with the number of residential roof terraces that have been built with planning consent on Belgrave Road, Pimlico and St George's Square, Pimlico.

I can confirm that the City Council would hold this information on its statutory planning register which is a public register available for any member of the public to view. However, we cannot give you an answer to this request as we do not have this information in the required format. Technically, we could refuse to consider your request under the Freedom of Information Act as the information is held on a public register. What you can do is make an appointment by telephoning 020 7641 2513 to come to our One Stop Services in Victoria Street and search the information yourself through the microfiche records up until March 2005 for both Belgrave Road and St George's Square. After this date you should be able to search the electronic records under both streets from the Council's website and facilities for doing this is also provided in the One Stop area.
