FREEDOM OF INFORMATION I am writing to confirm that the Authority has now completed its search for the information which you
requested on 7th of January 2009. You wanted to know:
”During the last five years how many times has the Local Government Ombudsman (as a
result of investigating a complaint against Babergh District Council) brought to
the attention of the council the fact that a member of Babergh District Council
staff had misled them, lied to them or done anything else to hinder their
investigation.”
I can confirm that there have been no such instances.
