I write to acknowledge your recent application to East Riding of Yorkshire Council for access to information under the above Act the details of which are set out below.

As of December 2008, please could you tell me:

1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which the Council has access to waiting list data?

2) How many plots are on these sites in total?

3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an allotment?

4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications?

5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area?

You have a right to have the existence of the information requested either confirmed or denied unless the Council claims an Absolute Exemption under Part II of the Act. Officers are currently establishing whether the information requested is held and I will write to you with the Council's response by 23 January 2009 which is 20 working days following receipt of your request.
