With reference to your request for information to the Council dated 23 December 2008, please find below the answers supplied by our Open Spaces Department:

1) How many allotment sites are there in the Council area for which

the council has access to waiting list data? - 3 sites

2) How many plots are on these sites in total? - 84 full plots

3) In total, how many people are on these waiting lists for an

allotment? - 102 people waiting

4) Are any of these waiting lists closed to further applications? - No

5) How many sites are there in total in the Council area? - 7 sites

The Council considers that the above response fully complies with the requirements placed on the Council under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000 but a person making a request for information under the FOIA 2000 may complain to a Review Panel if they are dissatisfied with the Council's response. Details regarding the complaints procedure may be obtained from the Monitoring Officer at the Council Offices in Benfleet.
